The vocational restlessness was awakened in me since I was very young. The Missionary Sisters of Jesus, Word and Victim, founded a patmos in Villa Ygatimí when I was one year old. I always had great sympathy and admiration for them, I saw their simplicity, their sincere joy, their sacrifices… For me and for my whole family, the presence of the mothers is a real blessing, because here we had no priest, and our spiritual life was often neglected.

Mi padre, fue el único quién sabía que yo quería ser como ellas. Él me ayudó mucho con sus oraciones y buenos consejos, pero no pensábamos que algún día se iba realizar. Lo digo a propósito porque en un lapso de tiempo, dejé de lado esta inquietud dedicándome al estudio. Hasta que, en el último año de bachillerato, estaba preparando mi tesis y en medio de muchos trabajos, volvió a mí este deseo con tal fuerza que no pude resistirme.

Era el mes de setiembre, cuando pedí asistir a un retiro espiritual, pero mi padre me aconsejó que terminase mis estudios, exámenes, clases, etc. Según él para estar más libre, y fue ahí cuando dije decidida: “yo quiero entrar en un convento y lo más pronto posible”. A mi papá no le era ajeno mi deseo, entonces me llevó a hablar con las Madres, con quiénes organizamos el viaje para el mes de diciembre.

At first my family did not understand, but thanks to God, the light and grace came to them. And with their blessing I left my country, my beloved Paraguay, on December 3. I arrived in Peru the same day, and to the Mother House, the Cenacle Convent of Caravelí, I arrived on December 4, 2015, where the Missionary Sisters of Jesus Word and Victim welcomed me with affection. I have already made my First Vows, and I am currently in the Emmaus Convent in the same Caravelí. I thank God for this undeserved gift.
