On October 16, 2022, seven new members of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Jesus Word and Victim made their perpetual sacred vows, giving their definitive yes to the Lord. Their names are: Mother Rosalba, Mother Johana, Mother Justina, Mother Imelda, Mother Eusebia, Mother Esmeralda and Mother Alina. The ceremony was celebrated in the Holy Mass presided over by Monsignor. Reinaldo Nann, Bishop of the Prelature of Caravelí, in the chapel of the “Cenáculo” Convent, Mother House of the congregation.

Monsignor Nann, in his preaching, exhorted fidelity until death, a fidelity as it should exist in the sacrament of marriage but in this case Jesus is always faithful, and fidelity must be from day to day. He also told family members to feel very proud to have a consecrated woman at home, because that undoubtedly means a blessing from God, who for some reason looks favorably on their homes.

“Faithful to you my Jesus forever, not only until I die, because through death I will pass happily and jubilantly to our Eternal Weddings” These words were part of the Vows ceremony that the new “professed” want to bring to life with the re-affirmation of his definitive yes.
