On February 23, 2023, five of our novice sisters made their first vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. The mothers of the missionary centers of Peru, Bolivia and Chile were present. The ceremony was, for each of them, a memory of the yes they gave to the Lord.

The five Mothers adopted a new name, signifying the change of life to which they commit themselves by professing their Sacred Vows. Sister Maricruz, a native of Pedregal-Arequipa, took the name of Mother María Atanasia. Sister Carmen, from Huancavelica received the name of Mother María Maribel. Sister Delfina, also from Huancavelica, was renamed Mother María Elvia. Sister Fatima, from Cañete, from now on will be called Mother María Inés and finally Sister Mary, from San Martín, received the name of Mother María Elsa.

The solemn ceremony was presided over by Father Misael in the chapel of the Cenacolo Convent. The five Mothers received, besides the new name, the habit, the constitutions and the medal with the inscription Teaching and Penitent Charity, reminding them that their life will be dedicated to the poorest and most abandoned. Our Mother Superior General, Mother M. Miryam, received the certificate of profession of vows. The relatives of each of the respective Mothers were present, accompanying them on such a blessed day.
