Yesterday, June 22, the MJVV celebrated their 62nd anniversary. Solemn Lauds were sung at the Motherhouse of the Missionary Sisters and Holy Mass was celebrated in thanksgiving, presided by Bishop Reinaldo Nann. After Mass, there was a procession to the Mausoleum where the remains of the founders of the Congregation rest, to pay homage to them and above all to thank God for these 62 years. M. Maria Trinidad MJVV, read about the erection of the Pious Union of the MJVV, which took place on June 22, 1961:

“His Excellency Bishop Frederick Kaiser, celebrated Holy Mass at 5:30 a.m. in his private chapel. M. Wilibrordis, the future Mother of the missionaries, was the only one in attendance. She was borrowed from the MSC (Missionaries of the Sacred Heart), with the permission of the Holy See… Six candidates were expected for this foundation day, but only one presented herself. And the foundation was made. ”

Then followed the prayer: O Most Holy Trinity, asking the servant of God, Bishop Frederick Kaiser, for the fidelity of each MJVV to the charism of the congregation.

In the morning, each group, i.e., aspirants, postulants, novices, junior and professed Mothers, offered a hymn to the founders. There was an exposition on how the MJVV clothing was in the beginning. And the beginnings of the congregation.

In the afternoon, the congregation’s own songs were offered, composed by M. Wilibrordis, by the first MJVV, and/or extracted from some of the Founder’s sermons. In addition to the representation of the second part of the life of Bishop Frederick Kaiser.
