In Bolivia they have many superstitions. Some of them are even related to marriage. Most get married in the even year, but not in the odd year. With the belief that if they get married on an odd year, it will not go well for them. The even year is for them, a year of blessing.

We arrived at one of our centers in Alto called “Molinero”, two days before the party. Ten couples presented themselves for Marriage, prepared by the catechist.

The day of the wedding arrived, they all entered the Church. The ceremony was long, because the marriage rite was not in the plural, but each couple was called to the altar. They felt very important and each couple wore their typical clothing. At the end of the marriage celebration, everything was a celebration.

Thanks to God and to the help of our good catechist, these families now live in the grace of God.
