The novitiate of the MJVV held its spiritual retreat from August 17 to 24 at the Betania Convent. The conferences listened to for meditation were recordings of a retreat given by the founder, Msgr. Federico Kaiser, with the title: Humility, Part II. Based on the Gospel of St. Matthew.

During the spiritual retreat, we try to get out of the daily routine to exercise ourselves even more spiritually, above all and more than anything else through prayer. The Founder used to say: Prayer is that loving contact with God, my personal and intimate contact with God.

This is the purpose of a spiritual retreat: to reap abundant fruits, and this is achieved if the soul is well disposed and collaborates with the grace of God, poured out during these days.

Someday you will see and judge that the most beautiful and important time of your life was the one you spent before your praying God. Frederick Kaiser.
