In the year 2021, the year dedicated to St. Joseph, we had to change our pastoral plan. Above all, adapt to the weather according to the variations of COVID 19 which has left consequences all over the world. The zeal for souls and the passion for the apostolate pushed us to lose our fears, leaving our fears with more trust in God and asking for the intercession of Our Father Frederick. Without counting the presence of college and school students, as we did all previous years on the solemnity of Corpus Domini, this time we have planned the participation of our catechists from the various communities, with their respective delegations, to meet in Yawisla, the seat of the Center. Missionary.

The date arrived on June 6, after an intense cold, a radiant sun came out as if to make us feel the paternal love of God the Father on our community.

We divided the work for this activity, a preparation and decoration of the Church. Another organized the altars for the procession with the institutions and with the catechists around the square. Another was instructed to receive the delegations, which exceeded our expectations. Also for this occasion one of our faithful was generously present with natural flowers, to decorate the main altar of the Church. For their part, they asked God for health and work, in this difficult moment to face.

When the bell rang, the solemn celebration of Corpus Domini began. There are very few Catholics in this city, but on this occasion our Church was full of people who did not attend the Church. After the celebration, the authorities and male catechists stepped forward to carry the canopy, and four girls dressed as little angels carried a basket of fresh flowers, with mixtures to sprinkle on the street during the procession.

On this day, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament passed through Yawisla Square just as he walked the streets of Jerusalem pouring out blessings to his children, who had prepared themselves with great joy.

At the end of the procession, our faithful gathered the flowers and mixtures to take them away because they use it as a medicine, as it is blessed by God. After replacing the Blessed Sacrament, our catechists with their delegations went to the Catechetical Center John Paul II to share a fraternity lunch.

Thank God, we were able to successfully complete the activities planned for this day. Our catechists returned to their communities very happy.
