This book is composed of two volumes: on the Old and the New Testament. It does not pretend to be a grandiose commentary for specialists, it is only a simple help. Whoever has in his hands a Bible to read, study or meditate on it, will only need a glance at the respective verse in this work to know its correct meaning. This book seeks in some way to serve as a guide in the reading of the Holy Scriptures, without being “strictly academic”, facilitating the understanding of its parts to anyone who wants to know the meaning of the words that are read in the Sacred Texts. The mentality of the work, as Bishop Federico Kaiser says, is that of the Bible: the Bible itself declares to every reader “that you may know the soundness of the teaching you have received” (Lk. 1:4).
